NOAA Seeks Comments on Fish Import Paperwork Under Driftnet Moratorium Act

## Summary

NOAA is asking for public feedback on a paperwork process that helps control the import of certain fish products caught using banned fishing nets. This affects businesses that trade fish and seafood, ensuring they follow rules to protect the ocean and marine life. Comments are open until May 16, 2025, with no new costs expected, just a smooth continuation of current rules.

## Abstract

The Department of Commerce, in accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (PRA), invites the general public and other Federal agencies to comment on proposed, and continuing information collections, which helps us assess the impact of our information collection requirements and minimize the public's reporting burden. The purpose of this notice is to allow for 60 days of public comment preceding submission of the collection to OMB.
