U.S. Keeps Duties on Welded Pipe From Six Countries

## Summary

The U.S. is keeping special taxes on large diameter welded pipes from Canada, China, Greece, India, Korea, and Türkiye to stop unfair pricing and unfair government help. These taxes will stay in place starting May 2, 2025, to protect American pipe makers from harm. If these taxes were removed, it could hurt U.S. businesses and jobs.

## Abstract

As a result of the determinations by the U.S. Department of Commerce (Commerce) and the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) that revocation of the antidumping duty (AD) orders on large diameter welded pipe (LDWP) from Canada, the People's Republic of China (China), Greece, India, the Republic of Korea (Korea), and the Republic of T[uuml]rkiye (T[uuml]rkiye), and revocation of the countervailing duty (CVD) orders on LDWP from China, India, Korea, and T[uuml]rkiye, would likely lead to the continuation or recurrence of dumping, countervailable subsidies, and material injury to an industry in the United States, Commerce is publishing a notice of continuation of these AD and CVD orders.
