Nonskid Tape Dropped From Blind Worker List

## Summary

The government is removing some nonskid tape products from the list of items bought from nonprofits that employ people who are blind or severely disabled. This change takes effect on July 12, 2026, and means these products won’t be purchased through this special program anymore. Small businesses might get new chances to supply these items, but no big money or paperwork changes are expected.

## Abstract

This action deletes product(s) and service(s) from the Procurement List that were furnished by nonprofit agencies employing persons who are blind or have other severe disabilities.

- Small Businesses May Get New Contracts: benefit, low. Because these items and services are deleted from the Procurement List, the action may authorize small entities to furnish the products and services to the Government. The notice states the action "may result in authorizing small entities to furnish the service(s) to the Government."
- No New Small-Entity Compliance Burden: benefit, low. The Committee certified the deletion will not result in additional reporting, recordkeeping, or other compliance requirements for small entities. That certification is part of the Regulatory Flexibility Act considerations in the notice.
