EPA Publishes Official Notice to Correct Two Typos in Oregon Rules

## Summary

The EPA is updating Oregon’s air quality plan by fixing two typos and refreshing the official materials you can check out. This update doesn’t change any rules or costs but makes sure the public and officials have the right info starting June 22, 2026. If you live in Oregon or work with air quality rules, this keeps everything clear and official.

## Abstract

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is updating the materials that are incorporated by reference (IBR) into the Oregon State Implementation Plan (SIP). The regulations affected by this update have been previously submitted by Oregon and approved by the EPA. This update affects the materials that are available for public inspection at the EPA Regional Office and the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA). In this action, the EPA is also notifying the public that we are correcting two typographical errors.

## Effects PRIA read

- Oregon SIP IBR Updated and Corrected: benefit, low. The EPA updated the materials incorporated by reference (IBR) into Oregon's State Implementation Plan (SIP) as of February 1, 2026, and made the update effective June 22, 2026. The action also corrects two typographical errors: replacing the prior citation “page 11” with the correct “Permit Conditi…
- No New Rules or Costs Added: benefit, low. The EPA states this update only codifies materials previously submitted and approved by Oregon and does not impose additional requirements beyond those imposed by State law. The action therefore does not change existing rules or costs for regulated parties in Oregon.
- Where to Inspect Updated SIP Materials: benefit, low. The updated SIP materials (IBR) are available for public inspection at EPA Region 10, 1200 Sixth Avenue, Suite 155, Seattle, WA 98101 (call (206) 553-0256 and schedule by emailing the contact listed in the rule) and at www.regulations.gov. Region 10's official hours are Monday–Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4…
- No Significant Impact on Small Businesses: benefit, low. The EPA certified that this action does not have a significant economic impact on a substantial number of small entities under the Regulatory Flexibility Act. The update approves previously effective state rules and makes minor corrections without imposing new costs.
