## Summary

FERC is asking for public comments to extend the approval of its Emergency Preparedness and Operations reporting rules (FERC-725S) for three more years. No changes are planned, so the same info will be collected to keep the electric grid safe and reliable. If you’re involved in energy or emergency planning, you’ve got until August 20, 2026, to share your thoughts—no extra costs or new paperwork coming your way!
