Uncle Sam Says Mexican Trailers Too Cheap: Dumping Probe Rolls On

## Summary

The U.S. Department of Commerce found that van-type trailers from Mexico are likely being sold in the U.S. for less than their fair price. This affects trailer makers and importers, who should expect extended rules and possible extra costs. The final decision is delayed, giving everyone more time to weigh in before things get locked in.

## Abstract

The U.S. Department of Commerce (Commerce) preliminarily determines that van-type trailers and subassemblies thereof (van-type trailers) from Mexico are being, or are likely to be, sold in the United States at less than fair value (LTFV). The period of investigation (POI) is October 1, 2024, through September 30, 2025. Interested parties are invited to comment on this preliminary determination.
