No Fans, No Tariffs: China/Vietnam Mowers Go Duty-Free

## Summary

The U.S. has ended its review of special taxes on walk-behind lawn mowers from China and Vietnam because no one from the U.S. stepped up to keep them. This means those extra taxes are gone as of August 31, 2026, which could make these lawn mowers cheaper for buyers. If you sell or buy these mowers, this change might affect your costs and choices soon.

## Abstract

The Commission instituted the subject five-year review on June 1, 2026, to determine whether revocation of the antidumping duty orders on walk-behind lawn mowers from China and Vietnam and the countervailing duty order on walk-behind lawn mowers from China would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury. On September 8, 2026, the Department of Commerce published notice in the Federal Register that it was revoking the orders effective August 31, 2026, because no domestic interested party filed a timely notice of intent to participate (91 FR 57132). Accordingly, the subject reviews are terminated.
