Federal Officials Revisit Chinese Ironing Tables for the Fourth Time

## Summary

The U.S. Department of Commerce decided to keep the antidumping duty on metal-top ironing tables and parts from China because dropping it could lead to unfair low prices again. This means U.S. makers like Seymour Home Products stay protected from cheap imports. The decision kicks in starting November 4, 2026, keeping the playing field fair and prices steady.

## Abstract

The U.S. Department of Commerce (Commerce) finds that revocation of the antidumping duty (AD) order on floor-standing, metal- top ironing tables and certain parts thereof (ironing tables) from the People's Republic of China (China) would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of dumping, at the levels indicated in the "Final Results of Sunset Review" section of this notice.

## Effects PRIA read

- U.S. ironing-table makers remain protected: benefit, medium. Commerce decided not to revoke the antidumping duty order on floor-standing, metal-top ironing tables and parts from China, so U.S. producers of these ironing tables remain protected. The finding is effective November 4, 2026.
- Importers/Chinese exporters face high duties: cost, high. Importers of floor-standing, metal-top ironing tables and certain parts from the People’s Republic of China face continued antidumping measures, with Commerce finding likely weighted-average dumping margins up to 157.68 percent. This determination is applicable beginning November 4, 2026.
