Taiwanese Oilfield Pipes Get Extra Time Under U.S. Trade Measures

## Summary

The U.S. Department of Commerce found that certain oil country tubular goods from Taiwan are likely being sold in the U.S. for less than fair value, which could mean unfair pricing. This affects Taiwanese exporters and U.S. buyers, with investigations covering April 2025 to March 2026. The final decision is delayed, and provisional measures are extended, signaling possible extra costs or duties soon.

## Abstract

The period of investigation (POI) is April 1, 2025, through March 31, 2026. Interested parties are invited to comment on this preliminary determination.
