Chinese Aluminum Sheet Review Leaves One Exporter Facing Duties

## Summary

The U.S. Department of Commerce is reviewing whether Chinese companies selling common alloy aluminum sheets are following fair trade rules from February 2025 to January 2026. They found one company, Yantai Jintai, didn’t prove it deserves special treatment, so it’s grouped with other Chinese exporters facing extra duties. This means importers might pay more, and everyone involved can comment on these findings starting November 5, 2026.

## Abstract

The U.S. Department of Commerce (Commerce) is conducting an administrative review of the antidumping duty (AD) order on common alloy aluminum sheet (aluminum sheet) from the People's Republic of China (China). The period of review (POR) is February 1, 2025, through January 31, 2026. Commerce preliminarily determines that the exporter subject to this review is part of the China-wide entity because it did not establish eligibility for a separate rate. Interested parties are invited to comment on these preliminary results of review.
