## Abstract

The Emergency Communications Division (ECD) within the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) submits the following information collection request (ICR) to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for review and clearance. CISA previously published this information collection request (ICR) in the Federal Register on 08/19/2026 for a 60-day public comment period. The control number for this collection is 1670-0043. No comments were received by CISA. The purpose of this notice is to allow additional 30 days for public comments.

## Effects PRIA read

- Free, Voluntary CASM Access: benefit, low. You can voluntarily use the CASM tool at no charge; CISA provides CASM as a secure, free nationwide database for federal, state, local, territorial, and tribal emergency personnel to inventory and share communications assets for planning and interoperability.
- Registration Requires Personal Details and Approval: cost, low. To get CASM access you must enter your name, contact information, reason for access, type of data to access, and requested access level; the request is routed to your organization's approving authority for vetting and authorization, and an account is auto-created after approval.
- Time and Aggregate Burden Costs: cost, medium. CISA estimates 56 respondents annually, with 0.08 hours (5 minutes) per registration and 0.5 hours (30 minutes) per module, totaling 341 burden hours per year and a total annual respondent burden cost of $19,981.
- Small Businesses Not Affected: benefit, low. The notice explicitly states that this information collection does not impact small businesses or other small entities.
