## Summary

**This law designates the September 11th National Memorial Trail Route** as a commemorative pathway linking the National 9/11 Memorial and Museum in New York City, the National 9/11 Pentagon Memorial in Arlington, Virginia, and the Flight 93 National Memorial in Somerset County, Pennsylvania. - Families and first responders gain a visible tribute and a tangible trail of remembrance meant to preserve memories and celebrate national resilience. - Visitors and educators get official maps, handbooks, exhibits, signs, interpretive guides, and electronic materials to help navigate and learn about the Route. - Affected landowners and Federal, State, Tribal, and local agencies are required partners in planning and management, though the Route is not a unit of the National Park System. - The Secretary of the Interior may enter agreements and provide technical and financial assistance to Federal and non‑Federal partners to coordinate properties along the Route. - The law allows, when appropriate, signage on General Services Administration or National Park Service lands in the District of Columbia and its environs without regard to the Commemorative Works Act.
