## Summary

**Raises veterans' disability and survivor benefits by the same percentage as the 2023 Social Security cost-of-living adjustment.** It increases wartime disability pay, extra pay for dependents, the annual clothing allowance, and dependency and indemnity compensation for surviving spouses and children, all effective December 1, 2023. The VA Secretary can administratively adjust certain special rates for people covered by Public Law 85-857 and must publish the new amounts in the Federal Register.
