## Summary

**Annual reading of Washington's Farewell Address.** This concurrent resolution would require that on the first day of the first regular session of each Congress the Farewell Address be read aloud in the Senate by a Senator designated by the Senate majority leader and in the House by a Representative designated by the Speaker, and it would add that requirement to each chamber's rules while acknowledging each chamber may change its rules later.
