## Summary

**Army quantum and advanced computing readiness** would be the bill's central goal. It would direct the Secretary of the Army to create an initiative to map uses, assess infrastructure, build partnerships, develop workforce plans, evaluate acquisition paths, and run pilots to move quantum technologies toward operational use. - Army units would get a roadmap for using quantum computing, quantum sensing, quantum networking, and quantum-enabled artificial intelligence in intelligence, logistics, and command and control missions. - The initiative must assess infrastructure needs such as power, cooling, networking, cybersecurity, and secure facilities and may run Quantum Readiness Demonstration Activities that evaluate five capability areas. The Secretary must report to the congressional defense committees within 270 days on readiness requirements, recommended investments, workforce and education needs, pilot and demonstration activities, and any legislative or acquisition authorities needed to accelerate readiness. - It would push faster technology transition by evaluating acquisition pathways and by leveraging partnerships among Army laboratories, universities, federally funded research and development centers, and private industry while developing a workforce strategy.
