## Summary

**Grants Maria Cordova a direct path to lawful permanent residency.** This bill would let Maria Cordova apply for an immigrant visa or adjustment of status even if typical Immigration and Nationality Act bars apply. If she enters the United States before the filing deadline she would be treated as having entered and remained lawfully for adjustment purposes. The bill waives inadmissibility and removal grounds shown in Department of Homeland Security or State Department records as of enactment and directs rescission of related removal orders. Applicants must file and pay fees within two years. When her status is granted the Secretary of State must reduce the beneficiary's birth-country visa total by one. The bill also blocks family-preference immigration benefits for her parents, brothers, and sisters.
