## Summary

This bill would permanently **protect the official geographic names of the five Great Lakes** by banning the President, the Secretary of the Interior, and other federal officers from altering, redesignating, or renaming them. It would also invalidate Executive Order 14422, which renamed Lake Ontario as Lake America, and bar issuing, implementing, administering, or funding any executive action that carries out that renaming or a substantially similar action.
