**Formal annual Tribal budget consultation** will require USDA to consult with Tribal Governments on budget requests and multi-year program reauthorizations. It also creates an interagency task force to simplify federal economic development programs and a public repository to help Tribal entities find and use funding. - Tribal Governments: USDA must set up an annual consultation within one year, give at least 30 days' notice before meetings, and publish summaries of issues consulted on and responses. - Tribal entities and businesses: USDA will analyze and publicly report funding available to eligible Tribal entities and identify underused programs, plus plan outreach and technical assistance to improve uptake. - Federal coordination: A USDA-led task force with HUD and Commerce will align guidance, reduce applicant paperwork, and improve agency collaboration. The Department of Commerce will lead a working group to build a public repository of federal Tribal economic development programs updated at least every two years.
