## Summary

**Disqualifies sanctuary jurisdictions from receiving HUD grant funds.** This bill would bar any State or local government designated a "sanctuary jurisdiction" from getting grant funds administered by the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development for use inside that area. It defines a sanctuary jurisdiction as one that limits sharing citizenship or immigration-status information or that prevents compliance with Department of Homeland Security detainer or notification requests under sections 236 or 287 of the Immigration and Nationality Act.
