## Summary

**end tuberculosis**. This bill would direct U.S. foreign assistance to accelerate diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of tuberculosis worldwide. It would set timebound 2027–2030 targets and require annual, country-specific reporting and program evaluations. - People with TB and at-risk groups would get expanded access to rapid molecular diagnostics, care for all TB forms including drug-resistant cases, patient support, and prophylaxis. The bill targets 90% diagnosis and treatment initiation and preventive treatment for 30 million people by 2030. - Health systems, laboratories, and researchers would receive support for integrated molecular diagnostic networks, workforce training, procurement of quality TB commodities, and R&D on diagnostics, drugs, and vaccines. - Partner countries and programs would be prioritized by TB burden and must report to the U.S. on screening, treatment initiation and completion, infection control, procurement, and co-investment. The statute requires an annual TB R&D report, a Comptroller General evaluation within four years, and a sunset on January 1, 2033.
