**Abolish the United States Agency for International Development.** This bill would immediately stop USAID’s funding and activities and bar federal funds for any functions carried out by the USAID Administrator under the Foreign Assistance Act or any other law. - Programs and partner organizations that depend on USAID would lose federal funding and see operations stop when those funds are barred. - Any unspent USAID appropriations would be rescinded as of the day before enactment, canceling unobligated balances. - All remaining USAID assets and liabilities would be transferred to the Secretary of State, moving the agency’s holdings and obligations to the Department of State.
