## Summary

**Authorizes Attorney General-directed information sharing** between federal law enforcement and State program administrators to detect, investigate, and prosecute fraud in major Federal aid programs with stated privacy protections. It covers a wide set of State-administered programs, from Medicaid and SNAP to unemployment, COVID relief funds, rental assistance, school emergency grants, broadband and disaster aid, and other programs the Attorney General identifies as vulnerable. - State program administrators must respond to a written request from the Attorney General and provide records the Attorney General needs for fraud probes. That includes identity verification records, benefit disbursement logs, provider billing statements, and demographic details tied to active investigations. - People who get benefits from listed programs could see their identity and benefit records used in Attorney General-led fraud investigations. This affects households using SNAP, Medicaid, unemployment, rental assistance, pandemic relief, school aid, and other covered programs. - Providers and businesses that bill public programs may have billing and payment records shared with prosecutors to support investigation and prosecution of false claims and improper payments.
