## Summary

**Waives the SBA express loan guarantee fee for long‑tenured career law enforcement officers to lower borrowing costs for that group.** It would stop collecting the SBA guarantee fee on eligible express loans beginning January 1, 2027 and ties eligibility to an existing federal definition and misconduct checks. - Qualified career law enforcement officers: Applicants must have completed at least 10 years of service as defined by federal law and not be the subject of a pending criminal investigation or administrative proceeding at application or, if separated, at the time of separation.
