## Summary

**Conveys about 3,400 acres of federal land to La Paz County for solar energy development and job creation.** The land must be sold at fair market value based on a professional appraisal and the County must pay all appraisal and conveyance costs, the sale excludes federal parcels with significant cultural, environmental, wildlife, or recreational resources, the land is withdrawn from mining and mineral leasing laws, the County and any future owner must make good faith efforts to avoid disturbing Tribal artifacts coordinate with the Colorado River Indian Tribes Tribal Historic Preservation Office and allow Tribal representatives to rebury unearthed artifacts, and sale proceeds are deposited into the Federal Land Disposal Account.
