## Summary

**National Textile Circularity Strategy** would direct the Environmental Protection Agency to build a national plan to reduce textile waste and keep textiles in use through repair, reuse, and recycling. It would also require EPA to publish data, identify federal funding opportunities, and coordinate action across agencies through a new Interagency Working Group and an Advisory Board. - States, local governments, and Tribal representatives would be part of the Strategy's needs assessment and get Strategy data plus municipal solid waste estimation methods that EPA must publish and update annually. - Producers, retailers, recyclers, repair groups, researchers, and nongovernmental organizations would have formal roles through covered stakeholder processes and an Advisory Board that meets at least twice per year with two-year member terms. - An Interagency Working Group chaired by EPA and including agencies such as the Department of Energy, the Federal Trade Commission, and the National Science Foundation would develop common definitions, share data, and report to Congress at least once every two years.
