## Summary

**Expand emotional support for incarcerated sexual abuse survivors.** This bill would create three linked federal programs to fund counseling and crisis services inside detention settings, train corrections staff to deliver those services, and run a national resource center to collect and share best practices and guidance. - Incarcerated survivors and victims: Would fund nonprofit providers to deliver counseling, crisis intervention, safety planning, hotline support, and trauma‑focused coping skills in prisons, jails, and detention facilities. $10 million per year is authorized for service grants. - Corrections agencies and staff: Would fund training grants so agencies and officers can learn to offer and sustain emotional support services and report biannual usage data. $5 million per year is authorized for training. - Nonprofits and system capacity: Would establish a national Sexual Abuse Services in Detention Resource Center to provide guidance, technical assistance, and training to facilities and providers. $2 million per year is authorized and grant funds must supplement, not supplant, other funding. *Would authorize $17 million per year from 2027 through 2032, increasing federal spending by that amount during those years.*
