## Summary

This bill would create a coordinated **federal AI labor market data infrastructure** to measure how artificial intelligence changes hiring, separations, earnings, mobility, and training. It would add monthly establishment flow surveys, a recurring household time-use survey, longitudinal cohorts, and AI questions in the Census Business Trends and Outlook Survey, with dedicated funding lines and 10-year sunsets for reporting authorities. - Workers and families would gain more timely, detailed data on job openings, hires, quits, layoffs, hours, and how people allocate time between work, caregiving, and education. That data would support tracking AI effects on earnings, job stability, and retraining needs. - Businesses would answer new quarterly questions on AI adoption and related changes in hiring and operations through the Business Trends and Outlook Survey. Those responses would feed quarterly published industry-level analyses. - Policymakers, researchers, and federal agencies would get combined monthly, quarterly, and annual products that link BLS, Census, and other data to show occupation- and industry-level AI impacts. Sections 5 and 6 would sunset after 10 years. - The bill authorizes at least $33.0 million per year beginning in FY2027 for the three core surveys across six years and allows additional unspecified appropriations for business reporting and annual reports. *This bill would increase federal spending, authorizing at least $33.0 million per year for FY2027 and the five succeeding fiscal years, plus additional unspecified funds for reporting authorities.*
