## Summary

**Prohibits government vehicle fingerprinting databases.** This bill would stop heads of Government agencies from creating or keeping databases that link a person’s name or a license plate to vehicle traits and location history, and it would let affected people sue in federal court for harms. - Individuals and vehicle owners: Could sue a Government agency in federal district court for violations. Plaintiffs may recover actual damages, $25,000 in statutory damages if they were targeted, injunctive relief, and reasonable attorney's fees and costs. - Heads of Government agencies: Would be barred from establishing or maintaining a "vehicle fingerprinting database."
