## Summary

**Prevents premature denials of FEMA disaster aid when an insurance claim is still pending.** This bill would require the FEMA Administrator to issue regulations so an applicant who indicates ownership of an insurance policy does not receive a notice denying assistance under section 408 of the Stafford Act before a final determination is made on the applicant’s insurance claim.
