## Summary

**Blocks CMS from enforcing minimum staffing rules and Medicaid institutional payment transparency.** This bill would prohibit the Secretary of Health and Human Services from implementing, administering, or enforcing the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services' May 10, 2024 final rule on minimum staffing standards for long-term care facilities and Medicaid institutional payment transparency reporting, or any substantially similar regulation, preventing those federal requirements from taking effect without creating new programs or changing other authorities.
