**Limits non‑U.S. flags at many federal sites**. The One Flag for All Act would ban displaying flags other than the U.S. flag on the exterior and in public‑access interior areas of covered public buildings, and it creates a list of narrow, specific exceptions. - Visitors and the public: Prohibits non‑U.S. flags on the outside and in areas open to the public of covered federal buildings. Covered places include Senate and House buildings or buildings under the Architect of the Capitol, military installations, and U.S. embassies and consulates. - Members of Congress and local governments: Allows a Member to display their State flag inside or outside their office and permits flags of the State, territory, county, city, or local jurisdiction where the building is located. - Armed forces, diplomats, tribes, and commemorations: Enumerates 12 exceptions including the National League of Families POW/MIA flag, the Hostage and Wrongful Detainee flag, visiting nations' flags for diplomats, armed forces and service flags, certain historical flags (for example, the Betsy Ross, Gadsden, and Bennington flags), public safety flags, commemorative flags such as the 9/11 Memorial flag, agency flags, federally recognized Indian Tribe flags, and religious flags at military ceremonies.
