**Removes federal safety requirements for portable gasoline containers.** This bill would repeal the Portable Fuel Container Safety Act of 2020 and the Children's Gasoline Burn Prevention Act and would bar the Consumer Product Safety Commission from requiring flame mitigation devices or child-resistant standards for portable gasoline containers. - Families and children: Households that use or store portable gasoline containers would no longer be covered by federal child-resistance rules or federal mandates for flame mitigation devices. - Manufacturers and retailers: Would no longer face federal design requirements for flame mitigation devices or child-resistant features on portable fuel containers, reducing federal compliance obligations. - Consumer Product Safety Commission: Would be explicitly prohibited from issuing any regulation that requires a flame mitigation device or child-resistance standard for portable fuel containers.
