## Summary

**Voids HUD's AFFH rule authorities.** This bill would invalidate HUD rules and notices tied to "affirmatively furthering fair housing" and would also bar federal mapping of racial or housing-access disparities while forcing a new state and local consultation process. - Local officials and zoning authorities would be freed from HUD's AFFH requirements because the bill voids the 2015 Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing final rule, the 2021 interim final rule, and any substantially similar successors. - Federal agencies would be barred from using federal funds to design, build, maintain, use, or provide access to a federal geospatial database on community racial disparities or disparities in access to affordable housing. - The HUD Secretary would have to jointly consult with State officials, local government officials, and public housing agency officials, publish a draft report within 12 months, allow at least 180 days of public comment, and then produce a final report addressing comments and make it publicly available within 12 months.
