## Summary

**Would add about 2,212 acres to the Flatside Wilderness in the Ouachita National Forest.** The bill would fold that land into a renamed Flatside-Bethune Wilderness and require that any federal reference to the Flatside Wilderness be treated as referring to the Flatside-Bethune Wilderness. It would also preserve the Secretary of Agriculture's authority under section 4(d)(1) of the Wilderness Act to manage the area in accordance with existing law and regulations.
