## Summary

**Treat uranium as a critical mineral for federal policy.** This bill would deem uranium to have been included on the 2022 final list of critical minerals and would require its inclusion on every future critical minerals list issued under the Energy Act of 2020. It removes the fuel-mineral exclusion for uranium so federal programs, regulations, and policy that rely on the critical minerals list would treat uranium the same as other listed minerals. The result is consistent federal recognition of uranium in supply and security planning.
