## Summary

**Lets reimbursements to the National Guard Bureau for use of military property be credited flexibly and reserved for upkeep of Guard assets while units are on State active duty.** The bill would add a new subsection to 32 U.S.C. §710 to allow reimbursed funds from States, Puerto Rico, the District of Columbia, Guam, or the Virgin Islands to be credited to the appropriation that incurred the cost or to an appropriate available appropriation. The Department of Defense may use those funds only for repair, maintenance, replacement, or similar functions directly tied to assets used by National Guard units during State active duty.
