## Summary

**Designates part of Sumner Row NW as Alexei Navalny Way.** This bill would rename the stretch of Sumner Row between 16th Street NW and L Street NW and require the District of Columbia to install two street signs. One sign would be placed above existing signs on 16th Street between 1119 and 1135 16th Street NW and the other on a post at 1555 L Street NW. The findings describe Alexei Navalny as a Russian dissident who exposed corruption, list his awards, note his death in a Russian prison on February 16, 2024, and condemn the Putin administration's transnational repression and assassination attempts.
