## Summary

**Would extend federal employment services and funding to the Northern Mariana Islands and American Samoa.** The bill would rename the Wagner-Peyser Act the Employment Services and Jobs Parity Act and add those territories into the law's definitions. - People in the Northern Mariana Islands and American Samoa would be covered by the program and eligible for federal employment services under the Act. - Funding rules change. The bill makes the first allotment go to Guam and the Virgin Islands and sets a staged allocation so that if total allotments exceed FY2025 levels, each of CNMI and American Samoa would receive an amount equal to one-half of Guam's allotment for that year. - The bill would also place CNMI and American Samoa under the Act's unemployment compensation law requirements so they are subject to the same rules listed for Guam.
