## Summary

**This bill would expand access to stellate ganglion block (SGB) as a treatment option for post‑traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).** It directs the Departments of Veterans Affairs and Defense to offer SGB to eligible veterans and service members who choose it after being informed about risks and benefits. - Veterans: Veterans enrolled in VA care with a PTSD diagnosis could elect to receive SGB after counseling from a qualified health care provider. Care may be provided at VA medical facilities or through specified outside providers. - Active‑duty service members and reservists: Members enrolled in the TRICARE program who have PTSD could elect SGB after informed consent. The Department of Defense could deliver SGB at military medical facilities or via TRICARE participating providers. - Clinical guidance and timing: The VA and DoD would have to update the VA/DoD Joint Clinical Practice Guideline for PTSD within 180 days to add SGB as an option and to list clinical indicators and contraindicators. The changes to coverage would take effect 180 days after enactment and the Secretaries must notify relevant congressional committees after the guideline is updated.
