## Summary

**Deferral of tax on reinvested capital gain dividends**. This bill would add section 1046 to the tax code to let individuals defer recognizing capital gain dividends from a regulated investment company when those dividends are automatically reinvested under a dividend reinvestment plan. - Individual investors would postpone tax on reinvested capital gain dividends until a later triggering event.
