## Summary

**Authorizes a federal waiver of interstate weight limits for certain logging trucks.** This bill would let trucks hauling raw or unfinished forest products follow State legal weight tolerances on Interstate segments when the haul is no more than 150 air miles. - Logging companies and drivers would be able to operate covered logging vehicles on Interstate routes up to 150 air miles while meeting the State weight tolerances and vehicle configurations where they operate. - State legal weight tolerances and vehicle configurations that exist on the date of enactment would control the allowed weight for those Interstate trips. - The Secretary of Transportation would have authority to grant the waiver tied specifically to the weight limits in 23 U.S.C. §127.
