## Summary

**Blocks federal funding for red flag laws.** The bill would prohibit federal agencies from using any federal funds to implement or enforce risk-based, temporary protective orders that authorize removal of firearms without due process and would bar federal assistance to State, local, tribal, and territorial governments for creating, adopting, or enforcing those laws. - Federal departments and agencies could not use federal funds to implement or enforce red flag laws. - States, territories, tribes, and local governments could not receive federal funding or federal assistance to create, adopt, or enforce red flag laws. - Any federal grants or technical support for creating or expanding risk-based protective orders would be barred for efforts involving these orders.
