## Summary

**Criminalizes sharing classified information on mobile and desktop messaging apps.** This bill would add section 798B to Chapter 37 of Title 18 to make knowingly communicating, transmitting, or otherwise making available any classified information on a mobile or desktop messaging application a federal crime punishable by fines, up to 10 years in prison, or both. The new section would be inserted into the chapter’s table of sections as 798B.
