## Summary

**Stronger oversight of Amtrak’s onboard food and beverage reforms.** This bill would create a formal, multi-stakeholder review process to track how Amtrak follows the Amtrak Food and Beverage Working Group recommendations and to make that progress public and independently reviewed. - Amtrak: Would have to form an Implementation Advisory Committee within one year and post annual public status reports on its website until each recommendation is implemented or ruled impractical. - Workers: Labor organizations representing onboard food and beverage staff would get a formal seat on the advisory committee to review implementation. - Passengers: Nonprofit passenger groups would join the committee and see public updates about changes to food and beverage service. - States that fund routes: State funders would be included on the committee and the reports must note recommendations deemed impractical and, if funding is a factor, estimate costs to implement. - Congressional oversight: The Government Accountability Office would deliver an independent report on Amtrak’s progress within two years, adding outside evaluation of implementation.
