## Summary

**Expands maternal health support and continuity for military families.** This bill would add pregnancy and loss of pregnancy to TRICARE qualifying life events, require a congressional report on maternal care access and staffing, and create a Military OneSource pregnancy resource guide while excluding abortion-related information. - Families and dependents would be able to change TRICARE enrollment for pregnancy or loss of pregnancy with written medical confirmation. The Secretary must update the qualifying life events list within one year. - Pregnant service members would get clearer, centralized info on leave rules, career-field restrictions, physical fitness requirements, and which counseling or services are reportable to the military. - DoD medical facilities and the TRICARE network would face a detailed two-year retrospective review covering availability, staffing shortages for obstetric roles, wait and travel times, continuity during permanent changes of station, patient satisfaction, and a 10-year funding and out-of-pocket cost snapshot. The report must identify counties that are maternity care deserts and offer recommendations. - Military OneSource staff and related counselors would receive training on non-medical pregnancy needs, and the site must publish a public pregnancy resources webpage and a dissemination plan within 540 days.
