## Summary

**Adds land to the Talladega National Forest and authorizes land acquisition there using Weeks Law authority.** The bill would change the forest boundary to include the area shown on the “Talladega National Forest Proposed Proclamation Boundary Addition” map dated September 6, 2024, and keep that map on file at the Forest Service. Within that area the Secretary of Agriculture could acquire land, waters, and interests from willing sellers by donation, exchange, or purchase using donated or appropriated funds and manage those lands under the Weeks Law and National Forest System laws and regulations.
