## Summary

**Blocks all new or extended oil, gas, and other mineral leases and authorizations in Arctic areas of the Outer Continental Shelf.** The bill would add a new subsection to the Outer Continental Shelf Lands Act and use the definition of "Arctic" from the Arctic Research and Policy Act of 1984 to bar the Secretary of the Interior from issuing or extending any lease or other authorization for exploration, development, or production in those Arctic OCS areas.
