## Summary

**National Center on Antiracism and Health** would be created at the CDC to treat racism as a public health crisis. The center would fund research, collect better data, and develop interventions to close racial health gaps. - Families and communities of color would see more focused research, public data, and pilot interventions. The CDC could award grants and establish at least three regional centers in minority communities to develop and test antiracist public health solutions. - Public health researchers and agencies would get a federal clearinghouse for comprehensive, disaggregated data and new standards for surveys, training, and best practices. The bill also creates advisory and leadership councils to embed antiracism into agency work. - People affected by police violence and Tribal Nations would gain a law enforcement violence prevention program to study uses of force, develop public health interventions, and recommend alternatives to policing. The text requires Tribal consultation and respect for Tribal data sovereignty and an annual report to Congress.
