## Summary

**Would direct the Comptroller General to conduct, within one year, a study and report on how Medicare, Medicaid, federal health programs, the Federal Employees Health Benefits program, and private group and individual insurance cover items and services for dyspraxia (developmental coordination disorder or DCD).** - Families and caregivers would get a clearer picture of which therapies and services are covered, any age cutoffs that end coverage, and common barriers such as lack of providers. - Medicare, State Medicaid programs, and other federal health programs would be reviewed to show whether they cover DCD treatments and which types of services are typically included. - Employers and insurers would be assessed for how much group and individual plans cover DCD care and whether plans comply with section 2726 of the Public Health Service Act. - Congress and agencies would receive recommendations on whether the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services should issue guidance and on ways plans could provide better coverage, to inform future policy choices.
