## Summary

**Would create the Ralph David Abernathy, Sr. National Historic Site in Georgia** to preserve and interpret the West Hunter Street Baptist Church and to recognize Abernathy as an internationally known civil rights leader. It would use the boundary shown on an August 2022 map and let the Interior Secretary acquire land inside that boundary by donation, by purchase from willing sellers with donated or appropriated funds, or by exchange. Land owned by the State or its local governments could be added only by donation. A management plan must be completed within three years after funds first become available. The Secretary may enter cooperative agreements or leases to provide signage, exhibits, parking, technology-based interpretation, tours, and other support for preservation and education.
